hard to provide good food and drink in a cosy and inviting atmosphere which makes this quaint old inn the focal point of a lively and picturesque village.
From Keith’s viewpoint the Griffin belongs to the community - he is simply there to take care of it. In fine weather the extensive garden is a perfect setting to enjoy a drink or snack whilst on chilly days a roaring log fire completes the homely feel. Hearty home cooking is freshly prepared to order, complemented by fine wines and a minimum of two cask ales always available ensures a memorable pint. As Keith says, with all of its original charm and character carefully preserved, the only thing the Griffin needs is leaving alone.
